  • u@marenostrum was presented at the Final eParticipation Conference: Current State of Play & Future Directions
    Momentum e-participation

    Organized by the projects co-funded by the European Commission under the eParticipation Preparatory Action, at the premises of the European Parliament, in Brussels, Belgium the “Final eParticipation Conference: Current State of Play & Future Directions” took place on the 15th of December 2009. At the event u@marenostrum was presented at an audience consisting of various stakeholders such as EU officials, national, regional and international actors, NGOs, CSOs, etc. by the project partner Gov2u.

  • u@marenostrum was presented at 4th International Conference “The European City – urbanization and architecture, security and finance”
    National Association of Municipal Clercs in Bulgaria

    u@marenostrum was presented in the 4th International Conference “The European City – urbanization and architecture, security and finance”, in Sofia, Bulgaria on the 18th of September 2009. The presentation was under the title “Water in the Valencian region” and the audience participating was constituted by Representatives from public institutions. The partner organization FCVRE was responsible for the presentation.

  • u@marenostrum presented at EU 5th Ministerial eGovernment Conference

    A live video demonstration of the u@marenostrum application was presented at the eParticipation booth during the EU 5th Ministerial eGovernment Conference that took place the 19th-20th of November, 2009 at Malmö, Sweden.

    At the Ministerial Conference, high-level speakers and 1 000 delegates representing Member States, EFTA and candidate countries, the European Commission, international and regional organisations such as the United Nations and the OECD, leaders of the ICT industry and its main organisations including Digital Europe, as well as academia and others met in more than 20 sessions to discuss topics of particular interest to actors in the field of eGovernment.

  • U@marenostrum presented at the 2009 AES Summer school

    eEnvironment
    The U@marenostrum project was presented at the AES Summer school that took place from 24 to 29 August 2009 in Valencia, Spain under the topic "Water, engagement for our future". The aim of the Summer Schools was to raise awareness concerning the developments affecting water resources, their availability and their management and provide regional administrations with the opportunity to gather best practice in this field from their European counterparts and to develop innovative approaches



  • U@marenostrum presented at the “Towards eEnvironment conference”.

    eEnvironment

    The U@marenostrum project was presented by Maria Perez Ortega at the European conference “Towards eEnvironment”, that was held in Prague the 25th -27th March 2009. The conference was dedicated to information exchange among public administrations, EU institutions, environmental agencies, scientists and businesses involved in developing and using environmental informatics for the delivery of modern eEnvironment services in Europe.
